Secret noodles by the canal

Ta Sia Bangrak Yai Noodles

Located by the canal, reminiscent of olden days in Soi Bangrak Yai, this eatery’s signature dishes are Tom Yum noodles and Yentafo (fermented tofu). The Tom Yum flavor is just right, not too extreme, allowing you to add more seasonings to your taste. It’s recommended to order two bowls (priced at 30 THB each). The shop is easy to find in Soi Bangrak Yai Temple – simply drive past the temple to the end where parking is available.

    Sompong Pork Tom Yum Noodles

The Tom Yum noodles here are exceptional, as they come with loads of toppings (priced at 50 THB). The soup is rich and infused with the aroma of lime juice. It’s quite potent in flavor, so taste it before adding any extra seasoning. Adding pork cracklings will take it up a notch. It’s best to hit up this place early in the morning, as it tends to get very crowded later on.
