But before the first whistle pierces the summer air,why not slip behind the headlines and the highlight reels?Let’s take a journey into the heart of England’s two footballcitadels—Liverpool and Manchester—where football hasshaped not just Saturday afternoons, but entire identities.
Day 1 – Welcome to LIVERPOOL, A CITY CALLEDTHE RIVER’S EDGE,A FAITH CALLED ANFIELD
From Liverpool Lime Street Station, it’s just a 15-minutecab ride to Anfield, a small neighborhood that feels quiet inthe morning but beats as the heart of football fans aroundthe world.
Anfield – The Faith That Shaped This City

Our tour starts at The Liverpool FC Story and Museum, the club’s main collection chronicling over 130 years ofhistory: six European Cups, legendary jerseys, and personalmementos of icons like Bill Shankly and Jürgen Klopp.
The storytelling here is masterful, pulling you througha century of triumphs and heartbreaks until you feel like you’ve lived every moment. But it’s the behind-thescenes tour that raises goosebumps. We explored thepress room, the away dressing room, and finally, thehome changing room where every Anfield match begins.
Walking through the players’ tunnel, your heartbeatquickens as you glance up at the famous sign:
“This is Anfield.” Suddenly, you understand whygrown men weep here. Why opposing players touch itfor luck. Why this piece of metal carries the weight oflegends. This is the moment that tells each player tobrace for the roar of tens of thousands waiting outside.

From the docks, we stroll into The Beatles Story, anexhibition tracing the band’s rise from The Cavern Clubon Mathew Street to the heights of Abbey Road. Rarephotos, reconstructed studios, and intimate interviewsline the halls.
If your feet still have energy, return to The CavernClub itself, where live music still fills the underground air.The magic of the ‘60s has never quite faded here.

Day 2: Welcome to MANCHESTER Where Red Bricks Meet Innovation
The train from Liverpool Lime Street to ManchesterPiccadilly takes just about an hour, but it feels like crossinginto a different world. Liverpool is salty with sea air;Manchester feels darker, wrapped in its industrial past.
We start in the Northern Quarter, packed with hip cafés,vinyl shops, and hidden street art. A coffee at Ezra & Gilfuels us before we move on to John Rylands Library, one ofEngland’s most beautiful reading rooms.
Built in the late 19th century in a Neo-Gothic style, thelibrary looks like a medieval cathedral outside, but inside it’sbright, calm, and airy. Sunlight filters through stained glassonto oak shelves and stone walls—a quiet sanctuary amidthe city’s bustle.

Old Trafford — The Theatre of Dreams
We catch the Metrolink out to Old Trafford, ManchesterUnited’s legendary home. Since opening in 1910, OldTrafford has welcomed over 74,000 fans at a time andseen legends take the field, from George Best to CristianoRonaldo. When Sir Bobby Charlton called it “The Theatre ofDreams,” he wasn’t exaggerating.
