AKSORN

AKSORN is a one-Michelin-starred Thai restaurant by David Thompson, the Australian chef with a deeply rooted love for Thai cuisine, best known for his globally acclaimed restaurant nahm in London. Perched on the top floor of Central: The Original Store, AKSORN draws inspiration from post–World War II Bangkok, a period when the city was redefining itself.

AKSORN revives historic Thai recipes and presents them through a seasonal tasting menu, bringing back flavors and dishes rarely seen on modern tables.

Standout dishes include a deeply aromatic crab curry with wild betel leaves, rich with herbs and layered spice; stir-fried pork belly with shrimp paste, delivering a profound umami depth from high-quality kapi; and a delicate khao chae that refreshes the palate and gently closes the meal.
