THE HOUSE 94

Hidden in the prime folds of Sukhumvit 31, this newest member of the Ginger Farm family, is a serene green escape you’d never expect in the middle of Bangkok. The restaurant occupies a beautifully restored 1970s colonial home, refreshed in Tropical Colonial style.

Start with the Ceviche, made from Surathani longfin trevally prepared with the Ikejime technique, brightened with Sea Buckthorn sauce and red guava. The Burrata pairs the cheese with sesame–peanut sauce, lemon rayu, and Dukkah – an unexpectedly smooth harmony of Chinese, Italian, and Middle Eastern notes.

Recommended main dishes include the Ribs Chop crafted from Imo Buta pork, made from pigs raised on purple sweet potatoes, and The Red Snapper, marinated in kombu and served with honey-fermented Habanero sauce, Finally, round things off with the Burnt Cheesecake or the playful Ginger Dessert, a sweet ending that’s both fun and flavorful.
