It’s AI Time for Thailand

In 2025, Thailand is set to fully embrace the era of Artificial Intelligence (AI), marking a significantmilestone in the country’s development. Last December, Jensen Huang, the founder of NVIDIA, visited Thailand. He met the Prime Minister and participated in the AI Vision for Thailand event. This event not only garnered interest but also symbolized the dawn of a new era in technology development.

Previously, AI development had mainly benefited private companies. However, moving forward, Thailand and many other countries will adopt and develop AI within a framework of sovereignty, called “Sovereign AI.” This concept means utilizing AI in ways that align with each country’s language, culture, and legalframework to enhance the economy, infrastructure, and resource development. It requires support from both the government and private sectors; for instance, laws and policies must be adapted to this new approach.

For business owners, it doesn’t mean they have to be the fastest, but rather being timely and prepared. This involves reducing unnecessary costs, adopting new production technologies, and upskilling their employees to handle new technologies efficiently.
