At Motor EXPO 2024, electric vehicles (EVs) dominated the show as expected, especiallythe Chinese car brands, which expanded their presence significantly.
EVs are increasingly starting to feel like mobile phones on wheels — similar designs, materials, and innovations. Everyone seems to be offering the same thing, and it becomes a race to stand out through price and the word “new.” But then I came across the Volvo EX90, which immediately caught my attention with its Futuristic Performance in Sustainable Design—simple yet striking, and just perfect!
The EX90 is an SUV in Volvo’s signature sleek style. The top Twin Motor version, with all-wheel drive and 7 seats, boasts 517 horsepower and 910 Nm of torque— almost supercar-level power in a family vehicle. The car also comes with advanced tech, like Lidar, which works with radar cameras and ultrasonic sensors to detect other road users up to 250 meters away, even in darkness, helping to avoid accidents. If the driver doesn’t respond to alerts, the car can apply the brakes. Features like Pilot Assist keep the car centered in the lane, and Lane Change Assist helps with safe lane changes.
