KHAO KHEOW OPEN ZOO Meet the Adorable Pygmy Hippo

A visit to Sriracha wouldn’t be complete without stopping by to see the beloved pygmy hippo, affectionately known as “Moo Deng.” With its round, pudgy body and adorable waddle, Moo Deng became a viral sensation on social media, capturing the hearts of people of all ages, even gaining international fame. Besides being a major attraction that has drawn millions of visitors, Moo Deng also serves as an ambassador for the zoo’s conservation efforts in preserving this endangered species.

To explore the entire zoo, it’s best to visit in the morning. Guests can drive their cars inside and use the shuttle service to explore various exhibits. Spotting Moo Deng is always an exciting experience—you might find it sleeping, eating, or playfully running around.
