NONTHABURI – In Thailand, rescue units are always at the frontlines helping people from minor incidents to major accidents. Although they’re often forgotten, Thanabodee Suwanno, the owner of Nano & Nadier Car Care, the coinoperated car wash in Nonthaburi province, makes sure their help is appreciated.
The initiative started when he saw some rescue units using his car wash service. Knowing that they were volunteers with no salaries, he offered free washes for their vehicles. “I thought that if one day I were in an accident, the first one to help me would be the rescue team. So, any rescue team member can come and use my service for free, but they must be a real rescuer with a badge, and the vehicle must belong to a rescue organization,” said the 55-year-old kind-hearted owner.
